Welcome to the 21st Century!.ALWAYS glad to see anyone coming over from the darkside. I just want to say to all you expert Revit Users may hats off to you! I'd appreciate any input on this and the best way of learning this and much thanks ahead of time! And trying to do this on one's own with just Avatech Training Solutions - Books is daunting but I'm determined to give it a go! It is I think more 3D friendly but it definitely has a Learning curve.

I would really like to stay in the Architectural field of employment if possible because it's what I like doing and would Love to get the hang of Revit Architecture. I'm thinking maybe I need to skip the custom stuff and just try and pick up walls, elevations, etc.

I have one that has a 45 degree in it and another that is curved. And counter tops are not all straight or L-shaped. I have messed around with putting frames on some doors and it partially works but with some alignment problems and other lines showing up on the plans. I have always done doors with Metal frames showing not like what Revit gives you doors with no frames. I have gotten hung up on Doors and Counter top (custom ones). My question is with taking all these classes and going through the books several times practicing the exercises what is the best way to practice Revit? I have been going through it practicing trying to draw up an existing job I worked on it ACA 2010. I'm an unemployed Draftsperson trying to pick up Revit Architecture in hopes of getting an Architectural job! I have taken 5 online classes for Revit Architecture 2010: Core Concepts, Beyond the Basics, Advanced, Families and Template class.
